Bivio Systems Management Center
The Bivio Systems Management Center (SMC) is a comprehensive centralized management system that simplifies the deployment and maintenance of Bivio platforms and cyber security solutions. Fully-integrated as a hardened, rack mount appliance, the Bivio SMC provides complete Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance and Security (FCAPS) functionality for network administrators to easily manage and maintain any number of Bivio systems using a highly scalable client/server architecture.
The Bivio SMC employs industry-standard, scalable database technology to consolidate the management of all Bivio systems through a secure centralized dashboard. This easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) provides an intuitive view of the complete Bivio system including network, processor and application status. A tree-based hierarchy provides information at group or system level through context-sensitive tab windows. Network administrators may configure customized map views of the network topology, including support for Google Maps to visualize the deployment of appliances across various locations.
The SMC’s dashboard tab windows and tree hierarchy further provide network administrators with real-time continuous monitoring and management of system alarms and events, and a consolidated reporting structure for easy response and resolution. This comprehensive view of critical appliance information, such as processor and memory status, application state, device up/down, and network interface link state, can be used to generate periodic logs and statistics for system performance monitoring and analysis. On a single screen, administrators can add, modify or remove network elements and groups, monitor all status and configuration information, conduct audit trails, and view historical and real-time network reports.
